What's Happening at the Library in December



The library has lots of (free) events in December.  Get email updates for events and/or new books (see sidebar on left) - or follow us on Facebook! 


After-School Christmas Crafts (Wednesdays, Dec. 3, 10, & 17 at 3:30(ish):   
Handmade Christmas decorations are the most special.  Come to the Library for after-school crafts - for both younger and older school-agers.

Christmas in Merrickville (Sat, Dec. 6):   
This year the Library will be a part of the Christmas in Merrickville fun.  Drop by the Library for Christmas stories (10:00 am - 1:00 pm) and for a festive Juice Jam with Polly Beach at 1:00 pm!



Healthy Holidays: a Holistic Approach (Wed, Dec. 10, 3:00 pm):   
Join holistic nutritionist Karin Martinelli (RHN) of Tilia Blossom Wellness for tips and recipes for a healthier, happier holiday season.    


Mac Computer Workshop (Sat. Dec. 13, 10:30 am):   
Join our Mac user group with Bob Gray for tips on mastering your Mac.


Off the Shelf (Mon., Dec. 15, 7:00 pm):   
Join us for a holiday Off the Shelf with special guests The Giocoso Strings and their classic Christmas music.  The evening will include seasonal poetry and our hilarious & chaotic literary panel game "Please continue....".  Light refreshments available.    


StoryTime (Fridays, 10(ish))
Bring your toddler or preschooler for Christmas stories, songs and crafts this month.  
StoryTime will be cancelled on Dec. 26.
 
LEGO Club (Saturdays, 10 - 12): 
Building fun for ages 4+
