TD Summer Reading Club continues in August!

TD Summer Reading Club!:  
The library is running the TD Summer Reading Club to encourage reading for kids of all ages!  If you’re not involved yet, it’s not too late!  Get a ticket our Prize Draw for each book read.  
We also have activities for school-aged kids on Thursday afternoons: 

• K - Gr 3 kids meet from 2:00 to 3:00 pm
• then Gr 4 + meet from 3:00 until 4:00(ish). 

Movie Club - Thurs, July 30 at 2:00 pm

Beat the heat at the Library's (air-conditioned) Movie Club!

July's movie will be:  "Bon Cop, Bad Cop" on Thurs, July 30 at 2:00 pm. 
Movie Club features fine films (and popcorn) followed by tea and discussion.  The group meets monthly. 

Youth Group - Sat, July 25 at 1:00 pm

Youth Group (for ages 10-14) will meet on Sat, July 25 at 1:00 pm at the Library.  Come and join our Maker Space!

Make Prize-Winning Fair Crafts! Sat, July 25 @ 10:30

Interested in winning a ribbon in the Merrickville and District Agricultural Fair?  

Kids can come to the Library on Sat, July 25 at 10:30 am to make something from the Fair’s list of arts & crafts to enter as an exhibit.  Rose Lamingham from the Fair Committee will be there to get you started.  There are a variety of crafts for pre-schoolers to age 16.  Supplies provided.

Mac User Group - Sat, July 18 @ 10:30

Join our Mac user group with Bob Gray for tips on mastering your Mac.  Next meeting is Sat, July 18 at 10:30 at the Library.

French Club starts Wed, July 8, 6:30 pm

French Club for kids is back!  
The Club meets Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm in July.  

Play games and do fun activities (games, LEGO, crafts, whatever) while speaking French.  Kids can also check out French books as part of the Summer Reading Club.
