StoryTime: Starting Kindergarten? (Fridays at 10(ish):
Is your child starting school
this year? Our weekly StoryTime is an
excellent way to help your child get ready - by participating in group
activities, practicing listening and pre-literacy skills, and developing
enthusiasm for books. The library also has
concept books (letters, numbers, colours, shapes, etc.) and books with rhyme,
repetition, phonics activities, and more to encourage language skills and early
learning. Research shows that early
literacy programs improve school readiness.
Join us for stories,
songs & rhymes and a simple craft.
New StoryTimers are always welcome.
StoryTime will be cancelled on Good Friday (Apr. 18).
LEGO Club (Saturdays between 10:00 and 12 noon):
Our LEGO Club drop-in continues in April. Come
for a brick-filled hour of building fun for ages 4+.
