March Break Fun at the Library!

Take a (March) Break at the Library.  We have activities for kids and teens!  
Please contact the Library (or 613-269-3326) to register or for more info about any of these programs.
 
March Break – Music, Masks, & Magic!
Juice Jam (Sat., Mar. 8, 10:30 am):  
Join Polly Beach for a music program with simple songs & rhymes, rhythm instruments, lots of audience participation, and a snack!   Juice Jam is fun for ages 7 & under (& a parent).

LEGO Club (Saturdays, 10 - 12 drop-in):  
LEGO Club continues in March.  Come build with us on Mar. 8 and your creation will be on display for March Break!  Ages 4+.

Music Improv Workshop (Mon., Mar. 10, 7:00 pm): 
Play an instrument?  Grab it and come jam at our Improvisation Workshop with Jordan Rannells (Creative Sound Productions).  Learn how to improvise with your guitar, sax, etc.  For ages 12 - adult.

Brenda Carter Memorial Art Workshop for Kids (Tues., Mar. 11 at 1:30 pm):  
Express your inner self at this Mask-Making workshop with Debbie Alexander.  Kids ages 5 – 16 can make a mask that is simple and fun or one that’s a work of art!  Registration required.

Abracadabra – Magician School (Thurs, Mar. 13, 1:30 pm):   
Presto Change-o!  Let us turn you into a magician!  Come and let our library magicians amaze you with their magical tricks – and teach you a few you can do at home.  Make your own magic wand!  Fun for kids aged 5-12.  Registration required.

StoryTime (Fridays, 10ish):
StoryTime runs every Friday (including March Break). Join us for stories, songs & rhymes and a simple craft.  

Guitar Basics Workshop (Sat., Mar. 15, 1:30 pm):  
Dust off that guitar and come explore the basics of Guitar with Jordan Rannells.  For kids and adults. 

Museum Passes: 
A museum visit is a great March Break family activity!  The library lends free family passes to several Ottawa museums.  Contact the library for more information.
