Library Activities in August!

The Library’s summer activities for kids continues in August!  For more information, please contact the library (or 613-269-3326).  Also, the library will be on reduced vacation hours from Aug. 22 to Sept. 1 - see below for details.

TD Summer Reading Club! (to Aug. 21): 
The library is running the TD Summer Reading Club “Eureka!” to encourage reading for kids of all ages!  If you’re not involved yet, it’s not too late!  Get a ticket our Prize Draw for each book read.  
We also have “maker activities” on Thursday afternoons (to Aug. 21).

• 2:00 - for kids Gr 4 & up

French Club (Wednesdays, 6:30 pm to Aug. 20):  
French Club is a hit!  Join us for a variety of fun activities (games, LEGO, crafts, whatever) while speaking French.  And check out French books for the Summer Reading Club.  Thanks to Colleen Perkins, Cheryl Harper, Marie-Josee Pinel, and all the moms for helping with the club.

LEGO Club (Saturdays, 10 - 12 noon):  
Building with LEGO is another great maker activity, and our LEGO Club continues on Saturday mornings between 10 and noon.   Lego Club will be cancelled Aug. 23 & 30.

StoryTime (Fridays, 10ish):  
StoryTime for ages 6 & under (and a parent/caregiver) continues!   It’s a fun way to prepare for starting school this fall.  StoryTime is cancelled Aug. 22 & 29.

Museum Passes:  
Borrow a family pass for Ottawa museums:  Canadian History, Nature, Science & Technology, Agriculture, Space, War - and the Ottawa Museum Network.

The Library will be on reduced vacation hours between Aug. 22 and Sept. 1.

• Wed, Aug. 27    -  REGULAR Library Hours:  OPEN 6:00 - 8:30 pm
• Thurs, Aug. 28 - Mon, Sept. 1  -  LIBRARY CLOSED
