Get Library Updates from our new website!

The Library has moved to a new website!
(but still with our same www.merrickvillelibrary.ca address)

The only downside is that you will need to sign up again to keep getting our updates on library activities and new books.  But, all you need to do is go to our new webpage and enter your email address!

You can either:
  • Use the "Follow Us" tab - in the right sidebar near the main menu (beside the upcoming events slideshow)
        OR
  • Use the "Get Email Updates" spot - near the bottom of the right sidebar (just under the green "Contact Us" button).
You just have to enter your email address in one of those spots, and you'll continue to be up-to-date with what's happening at the Library.

We'll see you over on our new site!

Due to technical difficulties, the website will not be updated until later in January, and during the transition some of the databases currently on our website will no longer be available.
Note: our ebook/eaudio collections on OverDrive and EBSCOhost will NOT be affected by this change, and will continue to be available as usual.

We appreciate your patience during this changeover.  But while you are waiting...

Two of our new databases are available for use now:
Encyclopedia Britannica (Student Edition and Adult Edition)
and
Universalis Junior - a French Language encyclopedia for kids
(Contact the Library for your login)

The Library would like to thank the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport for their support in funding these eResources.
